The relaxed atmosphere is complemented by a warm turf fire, friendly banter
and a reminder of Irelands past through the photos decorating the walls
of the bar.
As the night progresses our resident musicians get into full swing, and
the craic of a true Irish session can be experienced. Visiting singers
and musicians are always welcome in the Farmhouse sessions! One night,
none other than the Black Sisters (Mary and Francis) joined in for a song
or two!
Ireland's
cultural television channel, TG4 has already recorded an episode of it's
traditional music programme, "Geantrai", on a night that locals
were treated to the sounds of many of Irelands finest traditional musicians.'
Live
Music is played Thursday to Sunday.
